Paolo Ciocca

Paolo Ciocca has been Chairman of Open Fiber S.p.A. and Open Fiber Holdings S.p.A. since 2023. He is an economist and an expert in finance, new technologies, security and strategic analysis. He currently holds the position of Professor of Practice at the Luiss School of Law, where he teaches the Strategic Studies course, and lectures at the School of Political Science. Before becoming Chairman of Open Fiber, he was Consob Commissioner from 2018 to 2023. During his mandate, he delved into topics such as technological innovation applied to finance, cybersecurity and supervision of corporate governance of issuers. He also supervised Consob's digital finance activities and was a member of CEAOB, the Committee of European Audit Oversight Bodies.
