Paolo Ciocca

Born in Rome on 17 April 1963.

He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration and a PhD in Corporate Tax Law. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor and is currently a Professor at LUISS University in Rome.

Previously, he has held, inter alia, the roles of Commissioner at CONSOB, Deputy Director General of the Department of Security Information at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Director General for Finance at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, as well as Director of International Relations at the Department of Finance of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. He has also served as Head of the Tax Department of the Italian Banking Association (ABI), as an official at the Bank of Italy and at IVASS.

He has previously served as Chairman of the OECD Committee on Fiscal Affairs and as Secretary of IFAD. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Italgas S.p.A.
